Opening hours, 2025
Volunteers work in the History Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays, 10am – 2pm. Family researchers are also welcome at this time. The Centre is also open for visitors on Thursday and Friday afternoons 1.30 to 4.30 pm and Sundays 2 to 4 pm except Public Holidays. Access to resources by members and the public can also be organised by appointment.

Next General Meeting
Tuesday May 13, 1.30pm. Judy Billing and Robyn Currie will present stories about Bill Kreeck – the serviceman, chef, cafe proprietor, gardener and family man. Included will be a story about the Hi-Lite cafe. Members and friends welcome.

These are the men who worked on building the Paramount Theatre in Colac in late 1924 early 1925. We believe that there are 2 Bells and one Pimm amongst the builders. In 1931 the building was bought by Regent Theatres and further refurbished. The RSL bought the building in 1981 and have just recently had the facade painted.

Celebrating 40 years
