About

The Colac and District Family History Group Inc acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay our respect to the Elders past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of First Nations people.

The Colac & District Family History Group Inc. was formed in May 1981. It shares the History Centre in the COPACC building with the Colac & District Historical Society, on the corner of Rae and Gellibrand Streets, Colac

The aim of the group of active and friendly volunteers is to create, collate and maintain a comprehensive database and library for genealogical research of Colac and District. If you would like to become a member or volunteer, please contact us
